La F1 est une histoire de gros sous ! Et celui que l’on surnomme l’argentier de la Formule 1 va être jugé pour corruption en Allemagne. La justice reproche à Bernie Ecclestone le fait d’avoir versé des pots de vin à Gerhard Gribkowsky, un banquier allemand. L’affaire remonte en 2006 dans le cadre de la vente des droits commerciaux de la Formule 1.
Le chef d’inculpation exact est le suivant : » corruption et incitation à commettre un abus de confiance « . Depuis deux ans, la justice allemande enquête sur 35 millions d’euros que Bernie Ecclestone a versé à Gerhard Bribkowsky entre 2006 et 2007. Bernie Ecclestone, âgé de 82 ans, a démenti ces accusations en déclarant au Times : « Je viens de parler à mes avocats et ils ont reçu l’acte de mise en accusation (…) Nous nous défendrons comme il le faut. Ce sera une affaire intéressante, même s’il est dommage que cela se passe ainsi ».
